[A Discord reminder about first aid classes went up shortly after the game was over, but the location for classes has changed to an address somewhere in between the game tower and the hotel. Hurrah, no more long trudges out to the library?

At the given location, there is a very large, very dead pig spread out on a tarp in the vacant street. There is also a roaring fire being tended to not far off. Welcome to your practicals, students, time to dissect a body and identify all the organs. Also, try stitching flesh or otherwise together. The necessary materials are all provided, gloves, scissors, scalpels, forceps, sutures, etc. After giving his spartan instructions, John will be going in between the fire and a building that has a lot of fancy medical equipment set-up. An older culture in the North. People live there today, but it's not the same as it was a thousand years ago.

Yes. They believed humans lived in one world, gods in another, and so on.

No. That was Midgard. [glancing up, squinting] Nifelheim was where the goddess Hel lived, watching over the souls of those who didn't die gloriously, the sick and old mainly. Also, a land of ice from which all the rivers across the worlds flow from. A barren wasteland, really.

Asgard, Alfheim, Jotunheim, Midgard, Muspelheim, Nidavellir, Niflheim, Svartalfheim, Vanaheim. Originally. Hel became its own realm, and Nidavellir and Svartalfheim were merged together by a Christian revisionist.
