The weather's kinda crappy right now... do you think it's still a picnic if it's indoors? There's a teahouse by the lake that's pretty scenic... We could take some sandwiches and board games or something.

Ah-- I got distracted! I was going to ask you about the ring in your memory. I saw it in Nine-Nine's memories, too. Have you remembered much about it yet?

Oh... yeah, the Millennium Ring. I don't know as much about it as I'd like, but...

[takes a moment to put his thoughts in order]

It's part of a set of ancient magical artifacts. I think this is the most information I've ever remembered about it at once. For some reason, Nine was trapped inside it, and wearing it allowed him to use my body.

Nine-Nine said something about that, too -- that he could use the body of whoever wore the necklace. He said it was the same for King.

How many of those artifacts are there? Do they all contain a different person?

Seven... I think? I guess it'd make sense if they all had spirits in them, since the two we're most familiar with do. But I don't know why there's a set of haunted artifacts out there or how we got involved with them...
