Did anyone receive fanmail they'd like to respond to? If so, come down to the lobby and use BARiTONES live, we'll be providing free drinks for anyone responding publicly to their mail.

Think of this as a way to encourage the sort of audience engagement you're interested in. I realize fanmail is often... invasive, but I'm sure most of you have fans you wouldn't mind hearing from again.

Hmmm... I don't especially need any stuffed animals, either. But I wouldn't mind some fan engagement. Maybe I should ask them to send in their favorite cocktail recipes.

Entertainment, and they aren't picky about the shape of it. I'm sure the producers would be perfectly happy with anything, however ridiculous, as long as it was eye catching.

I think I'm interested in 'slightly more eyecatching'. Overall, the spotlight doesn't suit me, but I'm not interested in the consequences of lagging too far behind.

But you are right, cocktails are boring, and not why anyone is watching the show.

Maybe an auction, then.

The target audience has... a specific subset of interests. And I'm not interested in appealing to the more gruesome options, which leaves appealing to what remains. Specifically, romantic scenarios and revealing personal information.

I suppose that depends on the fans, doesn't it? What they consider interesting enough to try and win an answer to.

So we ask them to submit items they think we'll enjoy, and 'highest bidder' gets an engagement of their choice, while the top three get their questions answered.

That's an interesting idea. An auction to the audience, where the 'bids' are submitted via trinkets in fanmail? Well, I'm not sure they'd send anything of real value, but it could be informative, at least.

Maybe a bit. I think the mail is likely being filtered so that we don't learn too much, but it should at least help keep the ratings up.

And hopefully discourage being sent more body parts.
