Someone close to me has forgiven people I do not believe deserve it. How would you assess whether someone is worthy of forgiveness given the dire crimes that they are responsible for? I do not wish to change this person's mind, merely sort out my own. I imagine my prolonged resentment would pain them and that is not what I desire.

But your lives involve calligraphy and painting, don't they? And Fox likes to paint his emotions. Maybe you could take a leaf out of his book?

Well, if painting out your feelings doesn't work, try challenging the person you hate to a duel or something.

If both parties agree to it, then the person you care about wouldn't have any reason to be upset.

Yeup. Then it's just a consensual fight. How can the person you care about get mad over a consensual fight?

They may be upset that either party agreed to it in the first place. Rather than resolve their differences in some other way. Especially if they care about the both of us.
