Two stars seem to sparkle brighter than any other star in the sky - and while they haven't moved in their placement above, below where the stage is set the stars seem to move as if to meet each other once more, for the first in a long time.

Our Unit?

Almost two weeks ago.

And, yeah, unit. Like a team. This place is... the ones who run it call us idols and we're supposed to "perform" as groups with themes. Ours is BAD END=DEAD END. Kinda the punk-rebel group.

What kinds of things are we supposed to perform?

There are things called Lives that units do to get points. Our is Property Damage. Aside from that, there's vids to do in some kind of simulator room that also gets points if you showcase one of the unit's traits.

Competitions against other units put on by our hosts get the most points but they're not always worth it.

The points are needed to get stuff we need and buy back our memories.

Don't worry about getting a Basic Essentials box, I can get that for you so you can focus on saving up your points for bigger things.

Sorry, I only understood about half of that. So basically we can cause property damage for points, do something in a.... Simulation room? What exactly? And also play against other units? What kind of competitions? And what other units?

How does one "buy" a memory?

And if you have to do all that just to get points, I don't know if it's fair to ask you to supply me with essentials, too.

I've been here long enough to have three memories bought back and am set for the next while for clothes and stuff. I can afford a basics box easy. It's no problem.

As for the rest, vids can be basicallu any scenario you want. You just have to be sure to act out or show one our attributes like... being loud, being argumentative, being rebellious--those kinds of things.

You can transfer points and buy things through your phone. [holds up his own to show him] They get delivered pretty quick. Three hundred fifty points for broadcasting your memory for everyone to see. Five hundred to get it back privately. Aside from memories there's also some abilities you can get--they're one thousand points, though.
