he probably snuck in some cocoa and snacks and has been munching after shooting off a text to Lily.

though if anyone should approach him, they might notice he's only a few page into some study on prisoners experiencing solitary confinement for multiple years and is currently kind of staring blankly at the pages. hasn't turned a page in a while, it's fine, he's still sipping the cocoa, at least?]
