...choosing to protect yourself is your prerogative, of course. But to me it sounds like yourself... no, not even that, your egotism, is all you're protecting.

I intend to aim a bit higher than that.

What? You plan to liberate the masses? Take down the system down to its very roots?

I don't know yet. I'll do the most I can. Which is only possible if you aim for something more than nothing.

Doing the most you can means making yourself judge and jury over other people. You know the laws, the system; they're meant to protect. Waving that all off means you're ignoring the fact that you are human.

Of course not. You said you wanted to do the most you can, that's what doing the most you can means.

...the most I can to help. The same as anyone-- well, most of the people here.

I just don't think running away from it and hiding alone can accomplish anything.

I give first aid classes, advise the "leaders" of the resistance, and am occupying my position til the bitter end. I consider myself accomplished.

Congratulations, then. But while I don't remember much about myself, I don't think I'm capable of dealing with a broken world by pretending I'm not a part of it.
