Hello, E.

Yoooo. Sorry to wake you.

[And gesturing toward the lab---]
Let's talk in there.

[ heading in... ]
By the way, to your memory, did Exael ever explicitly say that she worked for Heaven, or did she just not stop us from assuming it?

[Give him a few seconds to scroll and---
Showing this to E:]
So you played in the games before you became an actor?
《 Do you really want to spend all this time on my past, rather than talking about your future? 》
Is that your way of saying you won't answer the question? You're a host. I want to become a host or a graduate or an actor or whatever else you want to fucking call it. Your past is my future.
《 Hm~ Well, you can get that. You got it right! Congratulations. 》
How'd you do it?
《 You get a big choice~ It's the most important part of graduation, because it decides the rest of it. 》
What were your options?
《 Heaven or Hell, let's rock! 》
Satisfied with your choice?
She never answered that last question. So no, she never explicitly stated she worked for Heaven.

Yeah, it came up in the Mukuro call. If you choose Heaven you just go home - right where you started, apparently. No special benefits. So someone who chose Heaven... probably wouldn't be here, hosting games.
Might be worth asking her about directly.

Here, there's lots of us. We have connections and we can organize. So there's that.

. . .
Exael said something that has been bothering me. Though I'll have to revisit it in light of knowing what we do about her and her boss now. But---
"It's better for you if the system works."
I wonder what part of the system she meant.

Otherwise, I imagine— graduation is what happens if the system works. Either we work for Hell or we go home, by the rules of the system. And if we don't graduate, we're Faceless, which seems frankly miserable.
She probably hasn't taken into account the possibility of it breaking apart in a way that benefits us, because why would she entertain that idea, or introduce it into our heads?

I'm more concerned that when they designed this production, they went with less horrific options that what they could have. And how we navigate the opening act will determine how they react in subsequent acts.

Does that mean he allied with a different Prince every time?
