[He puts his hands on Intensity's chest. For a moment, nothing happens.

Suddenly there's a clap of displaced air and a plume of green light bursts around them, radiating outward, illuminating everything -- the floor, the air, Intensity's body -- coils of delicate mist appear and vanish in a moment, leaving behind shimmering motes of green light, twinkling like shards of crystal.

It's over in a second. The sparkling green lights glitter briefly and wink back out of existence.]

For Intensity, Cloud Nine feels like a rush of soothing water through his mind, washing back all negative emotions. His fear is still there but it's out of arm's reach, where it can no longer affect him. His thoughts become clear and calm.]

He turns and grabs the wrist of that hand on his shoulder with more force than necessary]
