graduation x3 + (...?) (cw blood, food, gore)
Who: Emet-Selch, Five & Klaus Hargreeves, BARiTONES, Taisho Roman Revolution, certain criminals
Where: Mitsukoshi Ginza
When: Day 512, afternoon
[ BARiTONES and Taisho Roman Revolution will find themselves receiving invitations via cell phone to visit the Mitsukoshi Ginza for a ~*~*special graduation*~*~! Once more the terrace of the 9th floor has been redecorated for the special lads, and the theme is red.
Red carpet, red ribbons, red tablecloth, red cushioned lounge chairs, red confetti, red flower hedges, red, red, red. Heck, there's even a fancy fountain river that runs through the whole terrace before pooling at a humble sized square pond and that's red, t—
Wait.
. . . Oh. That's. Blood.
That's blood.
. . .
T-the wine is red too, and there's plenty of it. The available mugs for fancy drip coffee are red. Red velvet cake. Red meat, cooked anddddd nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooot hhhhhhhhey some of these tables and chairs seem to be made of things that are red but not things that are wood or metal or normal table material. Hey. Heyyyyy. . . ?
W . . . who is this graduation for!? Who wanted this. Like it is a Hell graduation but also!? Also!?!!? Isn't this a little too Hell-like already!?!?!
Well. Well!!!! At least there are normal sections of terrace to hang out in. They're even elegant. Fancy drip coffee and wine, again, but also fancy donuts and other breakfast options too. Fancy!!
. . .
Also . . . ? There are coin-operated horse rides, except some of them aren't horses, some of them are birds. Red birds! Phoenixes? Honestly they look kind of shitty and the music that plays from them sound horribly dissonant but on the other hand they seem to work perfectly fine without coins. So there's your entertainment!!!
At the far end of the terrace is the usual carpet to graduation doors, along with a clearing where three microphones stand for anyone who would like to make a speech or do a monologue or a performance or something. The blood fountain river crosses through here so be. Be careful. ]

A secondary alliance? What, like, first-come-first-serve?

[ She wraps her arms around her waist. ]
SensitIV already has a standing alliance. They can't very well choose to protect Taisho over the agreement they already made elsewhere, you know? If it came down to us or them, they'd have no choice but to protect them.

You sound a lot like — someone who used to be here. He didn't want us to ally with anyone unless we were all gonna agree to always put the other unit above everything, up to and including ourselves. "If it came down to that unit or the person I love most here..." Something like that.
[ Lupine shrugs. ]
Alliances that operate on "I won't attack you unless I've got no other choice" are still gonna mean one less unit attacking yours almost always. Call me optimistic, but I think that's still worth something.

[ She hums. ]
Of course, I cannot say with complete certainty, but I do not believe sensitIV would really relish attacking me. So if they must pick someone, other than their alliance unit, I do not believe they would decide upon me as their first choice as a target. So in the end, it wouldn't matter. But it would to Taisho. If we made an alliance, we would be forced to avoid them.
. . . That is something I already would prefer to do. But it wouldn't be fair to tell my current unit "We are obligated to avoid them due to an alliance", when sensitIV would be obligated, first, to avoid someone else.
Were it to come down to picking between two units, as some games are prone to do, it wouldn't really be a fair situation to have put Taisho in.
But... I still think it would be pointless. If we will already try to mutually avoid one another, and we don't have the reigns to the main alliance, I can't see a difference it would make.
And if there are games where we are hit, I'd like to believe it was with the utmost reluctance and because there was little choice in the matter. Which... I suppose is how all games go.
