[ dottore and x are standing beside a small table that's got a couple of colored toy barrels on it. there doesn't seem to be anything amiss ( at least not at first glance ) but they've all got their wands out, so it may be best to err on the side of caution if you approach. ]

[ all of a sudden the ground starts to shake, a shrill chorus of chitters and chatters growing louder and louder until... dozens of rainbow colored monkeys ( some LORGE & some smol ) scamper out from around the nearby buildings in a chaotic troop. they're there to chew bubblegum and cause trouble, and they're all out of bubblegum... ]

Huh. Guess we know what that does now.

[ X doesn’t seem TOO concerned with the toy monkeys coming to life. Like. Obviously this is fine??? ]

It would appear so... [ the abrupt parade of screaming monkeys doesn't seem to faze him either, because he's already taking out a small black book from his sleeve. ] Echo, I need a hand, could you get me a pe- [ an androgynous mannequin in a lab coat with its head on crooked ambles over and shoves one of its limbs at dottore. ] -en.

[ an a for effort, but not the hand he had been looking for. ] Nevermind. Go... stand over there. [ he shoos it away and uses its limb to tap at his chin. ] Alright, well... in any case we'll be needing some help to collect all of these rogue monkeys. [ because, lbr, he can't be bothered to do it. ]

I'm sure some of the more creative people out there could even make it into some kind of game…

Or a ritual. We’re wizards or whatever, right? So here’s the deal: capture the monkeys and stick ‘em back in their barrels and we can end this little pr- I mean, summoning for once and for all.

[ Prank live + Ritual = 500 points for Alch and 350 for everyone else! ]

[ a mannequin in a lab coat ambles over. ] This is Delta. He'll be digging the hole. [ or trying. ]

[ dottore's not going to get his hands dirty. ]

Let's go find a nice spot.

I don't have to be like... SUPER buried. Only a little buried.

...hm. [ goes over to a patch of grass and starts digging his heel into it. does this for a minute or so until there's a smol divot. ] Let's see if this counts then. [ stoops down to grab a handful of dirt. ] Let me sprinkle this on your head.

[ergospheric]

Go for it. Oh, maybe I'll lie down and that will make it count.

I'll even put a flower on you and do a little mourning.

[ plops down on the ground. lies down. crosses his arms vampire style ]

[hypokriticoath]

[ sprinkles the dirt onto him. goes to pick a nice flower which he sets on his crossed arms. ]

[ clears his throat. ] Here lies one of alcheME!s newest, S, an eager little ankle biter who was helping see his unit to victory. We may not have known each other for very long, but he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

[ quietly, but quite affronted, ]

Ankle biter??

[hypokriticoath]

[ crouches down. ] It's just a term for a small little thing like yourself. I mean no disrespect. I quite like you, S. [ ankle biter, affectionate. ]

[ergospheric]

[ GRUMBLE ]

I'm not that small...

[hypokriticoath]

[ offers him a hand. ] You are at least taller than X.

Did that count for your bingo square?

[ takes it ad shakes the dirt off like a dog when he gets up ]

It looks like it, so I just have one left.

[hypokriticoath]

[ helps brush him off. ] I must say, I'm really proud of you. Not only did you start the game late, but you've already almost completed a card. [ pats him on the shoulder. ] And what's the last square you've got?

[ergospheric]

... It's okay. You just got it by accident.

It was to get praised and you just did it.

I see. [ or perhaps it's just the whiplash of going from a burying a guy square to a praising a guy square. nevertheless! he shrugs. ] Well, bingo square or not I meant what I said.

So now I've got a blackout and all.

That's one more blackout than I have.
