Who: wild city & their new elf (he's not an elf) & friends
Where: wc dorms
When: day 507 morning
[ Good morning, zoo friends! The sun is not exactly shining today, but you're locked in your dorm!
And the newbie is curiously... not in his room? The door's unlocked, open and still unchanged.
Where is he? ]

Then, can you tell me if you have all of your memories?

[ A pause and then a slumping of his shoulders. ]
That's a no. Again.

[ but then he said he wasn't sure what he likes, so... ]
It's normal here. Don't be discouraged. You will be able to purchase your memories back little by little.

[ Even if he does kind of want to panic, ]
Okay but... How do you buy back memories? I don't mean anything by it, but that sounds sounds weird.

As for your memories... we will get points for taking parts in lives and games. Lives can be intense, and fall under a particular type of activity. For example, ours can be "grooming" and "vibe check". Other Units will host lives with different activities.
But energy requirement aside, they are fairly harmless.
Games however can range between harmless to traumatizing. I've been eaten by zombies a while back.

[ For as quick as he is to joke he stills listens intently even if his brain gets stuck and interjects twice: ]
Somehow it seems important I ask - what exactly is a vibe check and how do you do one?
[ If they're supposed to be doing them. But Pretzel goes on and he blinks twice, three times. Has a long moment of silence and then asks: ] I'm sorry - what?

[ but he knows he's probably more worried about the games than the vibes, so ]
Rye and Caeli have been in more games than I have. They'll likely help you understand them better. Death is not permanent here, but the pain of going through it is still real.
That being said, Wild City does take care of its own. We will do our best to make certain none of us will have to deal with anything unpleasant.

I'm sorry. I'm sure no one would lie about something like that but that's... A lot to take in. Like a lot a lot. People don't just come back from death.
[ u sure about that callum? ]
How can you be so sure? - I mean it's not that I don't trust you. I do - [ because trust comes mostly easily to him ] But it doesn't sound like someone has much of a choice? In that.

Some games allows for a degree of strategy, others don't. But even the ones that do ... it's easy to end up with the wrong choice due to a lack of information.

...And what about everyone else?

[ He realizes it's a broad question, but he's not sure how to express himself more in the moment. ]

I'm still one of the newer members in this Unit, so while I will provide my insight and assistance, it's usually Rye and Caeli that take the lead during games. That doesn't mean that we don't all have a say, though.
That said ... Wild City will protect its own, but if we are able to cooperate with others, we do. I've yet to see any instances in which we caused trouble to other Units. The closest we went to clashing with them during a game was a situation in which Caeli's life was at stake.

I see. Of course I'll try to help, I don't want to see anyone hurt. But is it okay if I'm not good at like... anything? I'm not sure - I'll just make things worse in something like that?

Games don't usually require any specific skillset. Even without any particular talent, it's unlikely you will be a hindrance.
[ nailed it ]

...Okay. I'll try my best to be helpful, then.
