[ He likes the second sword better, so after a few of the same slow movements -- slows down further to proceed. Anyone who's held a sword will know this makes it more difficult by several factors. The movements are fluid, ritualistic, and resemble a bunch of combat situations (equally applicable to hand fighting or sword fighting) in very slow motion. ]

[ Eventually he pauses and tests the blade's sharpness on his thumb, cutting a line just deep enough to barely draw blood. He seems satisfied by this. ]

[ Very Tai Chi, and probably a bunch of other disciplines, but it makes Lupine incredibly restless just watching, so he's relieved when Gent speaks. ]
