[Rise's first memory is off to a pretty horrible start, opening with two young children stuck in a decades long murder time loop where one of them has to die at the end of the day, and they keep racing to be the one that dies for the other.

The girl in the memory looks very similar to Rise, but it's the boy that she manages to talk to, snapping him out of those memories and having a discussion with him about what he needs to do when he gets 'outside'. They seem to have spoken before because she keeps urging him to remember what she's told him, and not to forget things. She tells him to find the people with red eyes, that he'll have them too now and reassures him that it's cool, that red is the colour of a hero, and to have faith in himself. He asks who she was a hero to, and Rise just laughs and tells him to ask someone on the outside if he wants an answer.

They say their goodbyes, Rise urges him not to forget 'Her', and the boy promises that he'll definitely return, before disappearing suddenly and leaving Rise all alone in that world.

Rise is staring at the screen as the memory ends in SHOCK AND HORROR. She slowly reaches up to grip at her red scarf, struggling to process what she just saw, that can't be real can it? That's what memories are like? Murmuring quietly to herself like she can't quite believe it.]

That... That's. Quite a tone setter.

Even if people did ask, I don't think I'd have any answers for them! Why was that so vague?
