I haven't exactly thought much about it. My impression of food is mostly just something you eat for sustainability.

[ Because Berk food was tough and tasteless. She's experienced more in the past day here, but! She still wouldn't know what was a favorite food. She does ask, not really meaning to be rude, but it may come off as such: ]

Yeah, sorry, it's out of habit. Usually it's someone else's stomach, technically. The friend I traveled with was always very much into food.

Also, it's usually what I would call a "safe topic."

[ She gets it, but also talking about food seems a bit of a weird topic to her - at least in terms of this place, her newness, and her lack of understanding of its pallet. ]

Oh, I don't know asking someone if their favorite tactics are the surprise approach or the direct approach can be pretty safe. And telling. Or their favorite kind of weapon.
