[She'll get up to get a few because she's hungry, but she'll put the same doughnut he had back in front of him and set a box between them.]

Oh, you're not wrong, but I miss being out more than the alternative I didn't plan on anything, just wanted to wander a little. I haven't done that in a long time. How about you? What are you up to today, old man?

Just grabbing a bite before I hole myself up in studies and theories. I have a long day of homework ahead of me.

What kinda homework?

Oh, you know, the usual. Time and space manipulation stuff.

I've seen some of your formulae, talk about intriguing.

Oh, I didn't know you had an interest in it. Do you want me to lend you some of my notebooks?

Oh, yeah. It's not something I think I'd use--the time travel, anyway--but I've been trying to piece things together myself just for fun. And yes, please, of course! I think it's fascinating stuff. I don't remember seeing anything exactly like it, but it's like looking at a language that has a common ancestor with one I already speak. It's familiar and refreshing at the same time.

I've got a few I don't really need any longer, so. I'll bring them to Baritones next time I visit.
