I would consider starting to take memories even if I haven't finished my abilities quite yet. You did mention not all of them are equally helpful. But admittedly I would prefer to be done with them, just in case.

If we end up in a situation that requires fighting ... I want to be certain I have every tool at my disposal.

Studying the basics is important, but — but that sounds like a lot of fun!

Then once you decide on a subject I would be glad to provide you whatever support you needed. I do think an important part of the scientific process is creativity. And even if it's something that has already been discovered, testing it and seeing how it works for yourself is exciting, isn't it?

In exchange, I'd like to ask for your help with technology. You are far more of an expert than I am.

Oh, I had the points for a while, it was just to get him to not send them back immediately.

Of course I'm excited. The only reason I never bought one was because I wouldn't know what to put in it or how things worked, but now there's someone who knows how the stuff works.

Depends entirely on circumstances.

If I am correct in my assessment of you, I'd say you would if I did that before I could reasonably afford to do so.

But I do believe you'd respect my wishes to pay you back otherwise.
