[ Crouches down deliberately, tilting his head so that his hair's out of the way. ]

All aboard.

[hops onto Lupine's shoulder with a little wing flutter. his little bird feet are still icy cold.]

Out. Might've stopped by the department store on my way back, though. I need more shirts with, uh. Room.

Yeah, I noticed you had some new accessories.

[and he's hopping around on Lupine's shoulder, craning his neck around to take in the wings...and then peering down to look at the tail]

A lot of new fucking accessories.

[ The wings flare a little, making better space for Valor while also, not entirely consciously, shielding him from the sun. ] [ His eyes are very silver as he watches the bird shift around. ]

Oh yeah? See anything you like?

[ He's gotten some positive responses, ]

[It's a little hard for Valor to take in the full effect from Lupine's shoulder, and he also doesn't have the cultural background that makes the horns/bat wing/spade tail combo ping as anything in particular. Nonetheless, he does find something to appreciate about Lupine's new look.]

Seems like it'd all get in the fucking way, but if it means you're walking around shirtless for a few days, I'm not gonna complain.

[ snork omg Valor ]

I guess that's one way to handle it. It's a little cold out for going totally shirtless, but...

[ Well. .......Thoughtful look. ]

Guess I could always do the cloak-thing. It's really drapey, I could just kind of wrap the ends around the wings.

[hopping back around on Lupine's shoulder]

Or just cut the back off your shirts.

Aster — our latest — did offer to sew them back up for me.

[Valor nips Lupine's ear, not very hard, keeping it playful.]

Or do you just want an excuse to shop?

[ Snorting laughter, and he tilts his head away to evade further nips, but yeah, it didn't hurt, and he's obviously not making nearly as much of an effort as he could be. ]

Have you met Aster, he's too nice for his own good.

So? If he wants to stitch up your fucking shirts for you, just let him.

[ This long pause is Lupine attempting to imagine Aster saying 'fuck off' to anyone, for any reason, ever, in his entire life. ]

I mean. Sure. Those words could technically come out of his mouth.

[nips Lupine's ear impatiently]
