[ There is a tall (re: 6'3"/190.5cm), noodley pile of limbs, red hair, and wings that seems to have fallen over the central table. He shakes his head after a moment, not immediately getting up but instead feeling around the edges of the table. ]

...Are you all right?

[ His head lifts up and he cocks it in the general direction of Gigi's voice. ]

Is someone there? ....I tripped over something.

[gives a little experimental wave]

[ He doesn't react to the wave at all, not even a blink, but he is pulling himself off the table. ]

Hi. Ssssso.... where am I?

[ He's still feeling his way around the table, reaching around until his hand lands on a seat. ]

"Future is Now," huh? I like the name.

[ He grins. ]

As for the help... I wouldn't mind an idea of what the rest of the layout of the room is like. Any other surprises, or is the... table? I think that's a table.... the only thing?

It is a table, yes. There are a number of chairs around it, but otherwise there is no furniture to look out for in this room.

Got it. That should be easy enough to memorize.

[ Once he's sure of his grip on one of the seats, he moves to sit in it, draping his wings comfortably over it. ]

So, would I be right in guessing we're gonna be roommates?

[ He pulls out out of a pajama pants pocket. ]

Did not find the text-to-speech function. I tried pressing a few random things but nothing seemed to help.

[ The screen does show that in his flailing on his phone, he seems to have selected, but not finalized, a pretty teal colour for himself in his profile.... which is why the doors are probably still locked. ]

Ah, something of import you should know. You are expected to select the colour you will wear in addition to our unit's grey. Do you have any preference for that?

As long as I won't embarrass myself in public, I don't have an opinion.

You have already accidentally selected a colour that suits you fine in my opinion. If you want, I can enter it and see if I can find the voice-to-text options.

[ The bird kid tilts his head as he hears the click of the doors unlocking upon the finalization of the colour, listening for a moment before responding. ]

Nah, it just so happens I'm in the market for something new. Unless "Hey-you" is a valid option, but the joke might wear out pretty quickly.

Our unit has a tradition of sorts, of selecting attributes as names. I am Dignity, and our unitmates are Levity, Chivalry Luminosity, and Felicity.

A theme, huh? It sounds a bit fancy but I like it.

[ He taps a finger on his chin as he considers. ]

Maybe..... "Combustibility"? Or wait, that doesn't shorten easily.... "Tranquility"? "Equanimity"?

Are those words that strike a chord with you?

"Combustability" definitely does.

[ He thinks for a moment, then snaps his fingers. ]

Wait, I know! "Tenacity!"

[nods approvingly]

A fine trait, and a fine choice for a name.
