Karaoke bar mingle, Day 433 evening

[ At the karaoke bar, the rooms are decorated in the style of LiliS, SensitIV, ☆Zrael, Wild City, Avante, and HSS as the "winners" of the latest horrifying game, dubious though the title is.  A group is gathering there in search of some mutual comfort after these recent, trying days, with plans for lots of drinks, songs, and plenty of cuddles for whoever wants them -- won't you join them? ]

[ A handwritten sign just at the entrance reads: ]

Rules: 
1. No brooding
2. Anyone wanting to engage in "improper behavior" must get permission from Suou Tsukasa

[ -- that last one is probably just a dig at the poor boy for attempting to moralize to immortals, but do with it as you like. ]

[ Everyone who was at Ideal Worlds endgame, knows the three party planners, is in their units, or just heard about this shindig through the robust hell grapevine should consider themselves invited!  In fact, you might have been dragged against your will -- they are a rather incorrigible bunch, after all. ]

[ Shaking his head, Lupine flicks a lock of hair over his shoulder. Wearing it down for this, maybe specifically because it seems like the sort of thing where there might be hair-braiding or something. ]

Man, that kid's a ticking time bomb of hormones, and one of these days he's gonna explode.

[ Doesn't even know about the Monster Bingo shenanigans, this is purely based on a.) having met Tsukasa, b.) having heard about about and seen his reaction to fanmail porn, and c.) his own memories of being seventeen. Or, well, fifteen, but some of us didn't suppress it. ]

[ Chugging back another neon drink ]

Oh, the repressed ones always snap the hardest! It's great!

[ oh wow thanks brain that was well-formatted ] [ Lupine snorts softly. ]

He'll be better for it.

[ Interested in the drink, though. ]

Yup! But they've got a lot of alcohol in them, surprisingly enough!

[ Sliding one over to Lupine.

It's probably bright pink. ]

[ Is he supposed to have a problem with it being pink, Venti. ] [ Chuckling, though. ]

Zari said the same thing. That there's like six shots in these things, even though they taste like candy.

[ Has a very measured and careful sip of it — then laughs. ]

What is that? Bubblegum?

[ Trails off. ]

Sugar? Pink sugar.

Oh! I wondered what flavor "pink" was supposed to be. I guess now I know.

The others aren't that much different. They're just different sugar colors.

[ He says as he grabs for another one and knocks it back in one go ]

[ Chuckle. ]

Hey, the one Zari let me sample was fruit-flavored.

[ This is a silly argument, it was still basically sugar. ] [ But Lupine is watching that, his smile slowly widening. ]

You were way too polite about that beer.

[ Also about splitting a bottle with him after dungeoncrawl. It's one thing to be told he doesn't need to worry about your liver, another thing to watch you and Zari knocking back drinks like they're water. ]

Ohhh, don't worry, that's only because it wasn't wine. Wine is a very different story.

[ A chuckle. ]

But that's gonna be about the taste or the vintage or something, not about how drunk it absolutely won't get you.

That's true. A rare vintage always tastes best!

The problem is affording it.

Being able to taste the difference just sounds like a curse to me.

[ Watching the drinks disappear into Venti with increasing amusement. When he's finished off the last one, Lupine's going to applaud. ]
