It seems Amos is back. She smells a lot like frying oil and there's powdered sugar or flour dusted all over her. --Not just on her clothing, but her hair, her face... it's everywhere. ]

They couldn't have cleaned me up first?!

They called it the Baker's Battle. My competition took it a little too seriously.

[Comes out of the position and sits down properly]

You okay? Did you get injured?

Maybe just my pride. I didn't expect them to use a spatula as a bludgeoning weapon.

I'd get you something sweet to help you recover, but you're probably sick of sweets. Hungry though?

I could eat. I think more food ended up on me than in my mouth, if you'd believe it.

[Stands up, stretching his arms up above his head]

You got it. What sounds good?

You mean you don't have something going already? You don't need to trouble yourself.

It's fine, I can make something easy.

[ slinks up behind her, ears flat and tail limp, ] And just where did you end up, hm [ sniff sniff. ] some kind of cooking show?

Yes. They took it too literally.

[ Pause ]

Did something bad happen while I was gone? Again?

[childeishly]

Had it been a nice break.. ? [ shrugs. ] No. I don't think so. It's been kind of dull here. Nothing doing beyond a bunch of people graduating... but it's not anybody I knew or particularly cared about.

I suppose if the worst I have to say is that I'll be getting flour out of my underwear for a few weeks, I can't really complain much.

At least that’s an easy one to solve; just get another outfit.

I should probably spend my points on buying all of my skills before I waste them on something so frivolous as new clothes.

100 points shouldn't break the bank. And I'm sure we'll be forced to play in more games soon, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to get more points, but the choice is ultimately yours. [ sets a hand on her head and ruffles her head, moving past her to head into the kitchen. ]

[ She was going to make a sassy comment about game content but that middle sentence throws her. ]

I mean, I can only speak for myself ultimately, but I think so, yeah. WC is better when we're complete and that means everyone being here, including you. I bet the others feels similarly in their own ways.
