Who: FiN & Visitors
Where: FiN Dorm
When: Post-Game, Night 377
[ FiNs being brought back to the dorms will find that the sleepover room has been set up for maximum comfort, with mounds of pillows, sheep plushes, and blankets scattered everywhere and picnic baskets with snacks and drinks set up. Sho-senpai is really sweet.
[But uh, game.]
It was a game where we had to pick from a list of sins to punish. The more we punish, the more points we get. Six teams with most points win. If you punish at least seven sins, your own punishment for the round lessens.
Most units did not choose more than seven on the first round, mostly following their own sense of what is or isn't worthy of punishment. Except Baritones, who chose to punish every single one, and did so for each round. Naturally, people panicked at seeing that, realizing that if anyone else were to do the same their unit would be doomed to lose. And no one knew who would or wouldn't follow Baritones' example... So in the end everyone did.
[He scoffs, clearly displeased.]
They raised the ante way too high without any need for it. It's... stupid and thoughtless, and worst of all it just gave the producers what they wanted.

[He makes a face.]
The member of theirs that I had most expected that from has left, too, so this was even more of a surprise.

I don't... think people are. But it is very easy for them to slip into that selfishness and cruelty. In a place like this, where we are pushed to our limits... It's easy to forget about all pain other than our own. Or instead learn to ignore it completely for the sake of others. And neither is... how it should be.

I did wonder for a time about having something with me that would not depend on unit abilities to be useful during games.

For the flashlight, even short range would be good. And it's a handy way to fend off attackers if someone comes too close! I am not much of a fighter, so I prefer to incapacitate or flee.
