[ Members of AVANTE EN GARDE, ALCHEME!, and FUTURE IS NOW have received word at some point to meet up at YOU-kai's dorm for a Very Important Chat about the possibilities of alliances (and also, dinner). Arrivals are expected to bring some sort of food, alcohol, or treat as well; this is a potluck, after all.

when they arrive into the blue-lit home they're greeted with the stone table half-full of freshly-cooked foods: plain rice and spring vegetable nishime, agedashi tofu, yakitori, a platter of whole fried fish and skewered eel, and simmered kombu. There's a few bottles of sake and soju off to the side, as of yet unopened.

Those entering are greeted with the tired face of Sanga, holding the door open, and speaking to the group at large. ]


There's room on the table to put your food.

Let it be known that we are here to talk. Should threats of harm or death be made, or acted upon, I will see that your body need be scraped off the pavement outside the hotel myself.

And do thank Tessera for her hard work cooking dinner when the chance arises.

TIME FOR SERIOUS BUSINESS

[ once everyone has gotten some food, settled in, whatever, Sanga will speak up again. ]

I do not see a need to beat around the bush; we are only here temporarily, and there need not be any complicated treatise or drawn contracts to make this work. Simply enough, there are those on our unit who value someone or someones on each of yours. As a result, they do not wish them harm, and the considerations on the table for an alliance are as follows:

One, that You-kai as a unit do not intentionally target Avante en garde, Future is Now, or Alcheme, during a game where such a choice may be possible, for either physical or mental harm, and that this be returned by each unit in kind.

Two, form an order of priority if such a choice is not given to us; it should be easy enough to circle around with the four of us to evenly spread any damage that might be necessary, should such a thing be possible. In the case that it is not: certainly our own units shall protect themselves, first and foremost, and protection of the others should be discussed amongst yourselves. It should be assumed that regardless of final outcome, an attempt should be made to avoid harming those we've promised.

And three; it has been asked by one of ours that we have a total cease of aggression within or without games.

... My personal thoughts are that the third option will be, unfortunately, impossible, as already demonstrated by the boy who is now trapped in the glass, and by my own plans for future lives should I be humored by anyone. But one and two are easy enough, and can simply boiled down to "when possible, and not to your own unit's detriment, avoid harming these units."
