Yasuragi is an idiot. Every time one unit lashes out like that, it hurts every single unit's ability to trust. When this place starts feeling unsafe outside of games, there's no going back from that.

Obviously back-stabbing drama is exactly what this place wants us to do. It's the easy option, and given what we know, not the winning one.

So no retaliation plans from you. Am I understanding that correctly?

I'm not going to hurt Yasuragi but I am going to speak to him. I won't tolerate anything like that again from him.

[Chuckles a little at that] Of course.

I need you to save that retaliation for the parties that actually matter anyway. Exael tipped her hand to us again in that game.

[Raises an eyebrow, nodding at him to continue as they take another drink. ]

I'm sure you noticed that the puzzles were getting progressively harder as the rounds went on. Fun fact: most of the units that went to sweet-talk Exael were placed in the earlier rounds. I think she used it as a way to show a unit's favor with Heaven.

[Turns to look at Cardigan fully]

It appears that avante holds neither Heaven's favor not its scorn. That could be useful in many ways.

I don't think there are any. Or at best, only a few are allowed to either rise in the ranks or escape this place.

I think the fact that they changed it from a individual challenge to a unit-based challenge means it also plays different from the previous cycles.
