[She looks probably less on the verge of having a vicious meltdown but significantly more tired, so on balance... slightly better? Not that D.Va would remember her from before.]
...do you want to, like, go to my room or something? It's still a little bit crowded in here, so... [ she trails off and motions for them to follow. ] And, ah, thanks. It's... good to be back, I think. [ she tries to smile, but it falls short. ]
I ate when I was a monster, apparently. And I hate some tea when I changed back. I don't really have much of an appetite.
[ she curls her tail around one of her legs as she turns around and heads for her room. shoving the door open she waits for the both of them to enter before nudging it shut and slouching against it. ]
[ d.va takes a few deep breathes and closes her eyes. she honestly feels like she's ready to fall apart. ] So you guys are, like, doing better?
[Honestly she's been corralling Aster so much for the past 1-2 days it's almost reflexive to cross to D.Va, planting both hands on the door on either side of her (virtually trapping her there).]
Hey. I told you to breathe. You got rid of it once, you can do it again, and until then we already know how to manage it. Got it?
[Then she backs off a little, stepping back closer to Aster.]
[she watched that display abs swallows before straightening, leaning in to the military bearing for a moment. And then glancing at Kohime and relaxing.]
Yeah.
[and then she kneels beside DVa.]
We... had a head start on working through it.
[the failsafe glows a light white over her chest.]
I am breathing. [ barely. ] ...and I know, but, like, now it's back at square one. I can't remember things again. I could hurt people. [ she tries to keep her tone even, but she feels like she's on the verge of freaking the fuck out again. ] But, yeah, okay... I need to find my journal and... start it up again, I guess.
... [ notices the glow on aster's chest. ] Wha- [ oh, right, we ALL got corrupted. ] Does it... hurt?
...true. And, yeah, sure, lay it on me. [ she moves away from the door and goes to take a seat on her bed, patting the space beside her, so if they want to join her they can. ]
In Heaven. I had been real... on the fence about dunking myself in the holy water, because I'm basically, like, corruption central, but I thought about it a bunch and how it could have been my only opportunity, so I just... went for it. It took away the transformation and the flowers I had growing out of my head.
I don't know. Maybe? I'm not thrilled about having to buy my abilities for, like, the third time in a row... and I kind of want to just... go a few days without being in constant agony and dunking myself in holy water is going to suck, but it's... all I can really do.
And then, yeah, that stupid cube thing or whatever is up there, patrolling around like an asshole.
[Folding her arms, assuming a more thoughtful tone.]
If you're not gonna do it––or if it doesn't work. . .
Your unit was always stupid about it, before. They'd run screaming at you and chase after you –– that's obviously not going to work.
When you're like that, you attack because you feel threatened. So we should show you we're not a threat. When we went to the ocean that one time to test it, I was fine –– all I had to do was give you space and time to get used to me. And save you from a bench you somehow lost a fight to. But after that, it always seemed like you remembered me at least a little, and it was okay...
So I think––what if we go, one a time, and set it off? Get your other form used to each of your unitmates, and then do it together, as a group, so you're not thinking of them as a threat any more. That way, if it goes off in a game, it's enough you don't accidentally hurt them –– maybe they can even calm you down so you don't go tearing off through the city every time.
I'll definitely make sure to let them know all this, because I don't exactly enjoy the idea of constantly being charmed out of my fucken mind while I'm in that form. [ rubs the back of her neck. ] Like, I get the need for it, but it would definitely be good if we could eventually just move away from that.
I had a journal I kept about the progress I was making and it definitely did seem like it could bond to people... it's just that it's relationships were separate from mine, even when I finally did start remembering my time being a monster.
[ he cracks a little bit of a smile at the bench thing. ] Look, benches can be serious business, ok? And yeah, at least you're hearing all this Aster, so god forbid something happens before I can talk to the team you have, like, a heads up.
Re: even later 350???
Hey.
. . .Welcome back.
Re: even later 350???
Hey. Have you eaten? Or drank anything?
[you look bad and she's concerned. enough so to fight off those flashes of fear that Kohime might feel]
Re: even later 350???

Re: even later 350???
[She gives a sidelong glance at Aster to be sure there's no objections, and then just walks herself that way.]
Re: even later 350???
but she nods, and follows.]
Yeah, if you don't mind.

Re: even later 350???
It's not starting over. We have what we learned the last time to go on. So––I've got an idea, if you want to hear it.
Re: even later 350???
she's fine, she's not hurt at all.
and then presses a hand to her shoulder.]
She's usually full of good ideas.
Re: even later 350???
Re: even later 350???
Aster.
. . .W-well––the first thing is, I guess, how'd you fix it, and can we just do it again?
Re: even later 350???
but she will move to sit next to her, while Catra flusters in the wind.]
Re: even later 350???
Re: even later 350???
Are you going to try it again?

Re: even later 350???
[and honestly, Kohime's idea makes sense.
but also she's a little concerned about previous members of heart, if that's how it was.]
