I started with Angra Mainyu, of course. And then went back to look at the basic tenets... ahuras and daevas, and the like. It's a lot to take in, but it's... interesting.
Normally it's a magical bond. The Master maintains the Servant's existence by providing them with mana, and the Servant fights for the Master and obeys them. As proof, the Master gains access to three Command Spells, each allowing them to give the Servant an absolute command.
