I started with Angra Mainyu, of course. And then went back to look at the basic tenets... ahuras and daevas, and the like. It's a lot to take in, but it's... interesting.

Yup. Unfortunately most of it's got nothing to do with me.

Oh, I was originally human. But after gaining the name Angra Mainyu and dying, I became something different.

And what is that being, exactly?

A Heroic Spirit.

You've mentioned that before, as I recall... something about Servants and Masters?

[avestan]

Yup. A Servant is a Heroic Spirit summoned into the world as a familiar bound to a Master.

And your Master is... Lucifel?

[avestan]

Nominally. It's not like we can have a real contract here.

What does a contract entail? Normally.

[avestan]

Normally it's a magical bond. The Master maintains the Servant's existence by providing them with mana, and the Servant fights for the Master and obeys them. As proof, the Master gains access to three Command Spells, each allowing them to give the Servant an absolute command.

I take it you're not relying on that bond to maintain your existence... and the spells?

[avestan]

We've got a Taisho contract to simulate them.
