With Valentine's day approaching we're bound to have some sort of event and I'm tired of the dance floor being empty. Some of you have to know how to dance, so show yourselves. If you're not from Earth, even better, I want to learn something new. 

For those of you who don't know how, I'm giving lessons in ballroom dancing. [They tick off their fingers:] Waltz, tango, foxtrot, salsa, take your pick. There's a reason dance is a staple of romance: it's chemistry in motion! Two bodies moving for one purpose; it's the most elementary form of communication there is. There's nothing better than working with a partner who knows how you move and how to fling you through the air.

And it's fun, even if you're not good at it and can't lift anyone. If you don't have a partner don't worry, I'll find you one.

I have a trophy, too. [Cardinal reaches to grab slightly creepy trophy  from off camera. It still says the bit about "YOUR PROFESSIONALLY ENGRAVED MESSAGE GOES HERE".] I'm not sure what it's for yet. Anyone could win it, maybe even you.

[Cardinal summons their feint and hands it a pair of gloves, which it pulls on. The pair dance a few moves like this (yt link) much toned down for B's innocent eyes.]

What great taste you have! Ah something new, something new...there is something called the Dance of Days. It's a collective of a few.

[She takes up a position and starts to dance. It's fast-paced and very sensual and has something of a tribal feel. There is no music, but even without it, but there's a clear sense of her rhythm and timing. She puts her entire body into it, feet moving, arms weaving sometimes elaborate patterns and clapping until she ends it with a spin.]

[Cardinal watches the performance with deep focus, then applauds.]

That's definitely new. Is there a partnered version?

Yes! It has four greater parts to it...and some lesser ones--but anyway. The partnered parts are "Dawn" and "Twilight". It is a dance that tells the story of the Iacros and Berine, the Sun and the Great Moon, and their relationship, either opposing one another or in harmony.

Dawn is very energetic. Aggressive bordering on violent. It is their war. It bleeds sexual tension.

Twilight is calmer, and is often mistaken for "easier" but the subtleties and nuances of it are challenging to hit and convey. It is their reconciliation and harmony. [she looks a little cheeky.] Their post-coitus, if you will.
