[Izanagi is resting with his head on his arms at the kotatsu, which makes it pretty evident there's a new tattoo of flowers between his hairline and the collar of his shirt. Those who are familiar with flowers might note that one is Gorse and the other is Wild Rose.

He's also got his usual outdoors backpack next to him.]

I noticed it before, but when did you get a body marking like that?

I don't know the specifics. Just that Yvette only noticed it after we left, and she probably would've noticed it sooner otherwise.

[ He never even thought to look at his back. Pulling his sweatshirt up and over his head and trying to peer over his shoulder as though he'd... be able to see anything.

Outside of the gigantic diagonal scars that run across his back...Just a little above his shoulder blades in the center of his back is a flower, as well as another couple of flowers toward the bottom. Hollyhock and Clematis. ]

[ He's so happy. He no longer has horns, fins, slitted eyes, a tattoo in the middle of his forehead, or all of the extra scales.

He does still have his dragon claw but that was always there. Still, he probably looks fairly different with all the changes.

That fountain took away our corruptions as well as our abilities. So... does that mean that if we repurchase our abilities, we are re-corrupting ourselves... to a certain extent?

That is right. It was painful to begin with. But after forcing myself to ignore it and bear with the pain, my corruptions all disappeared.

[ He wound up with some tattoos... but he hasn't noticed them yet, since they are on his back. ]

It seems that all of us who soaked in the water, though, lost our various abilities as well. I brought some back with me, as well as some of the fruit and jewelry I found in that place.

I, ah, don't think they're corruptions, at least not in the same way...

The last I, ah, entered their heaven, I had no corruptions but all my powers, but I was still held 'pure' enough to enter their heaven with no difficulty. But blessed water cannot tell the difference between 'corruption' and 'ability granted by hell.'

The first time I went, I had no problems getting inside. This last visit though, prior to getting rid of my corruptions...

Being so strongly rejected by that place was... it was a difficult feeling to experience. But I do not remember having any issue in the past, and I had my abilities then, too.

The powers do come from hell. But then again, the gates and the water didn't do anything to me, even though I'm a devil myself.

I feel that your situation is a little different. Or that this heaven and hell is separate from the one in your world.

The situation at the gate was intense and the water incredibly uncomfortable though. I am glad that you weren't bothered by either.

Well, even for a devil I'm kind of a weird case.

Are you going to get your powers back?

I probably should. People depend on us having the ability to heal. And we are a frequent target in games.

Unless we manage to turn the tides of this place before then and gain some sort of heavenly powers, if I graduate I would end up in hell proper, anyway. So I will wind up corrupted in some fashion regardless.

Yeah. The chain leading up is still there if you want to take a look. Just make sure you bring someone with you, 'cause we got tossed out by some kind of angel guardbot and if B and Angel hadn't been there, I'd be a smear on the ground by now.

There's baths that can be used to clear away corruptions, but it'll clear away powers, too. Lots of holy water sitting around for just anyone.

There's lots of fruit, too!
