[ The Live kicks off in the kitchen, where Sho has gathered up his own rations and a few assorted snacks onto the table, cooking show style. ]

Welcome to the Helpful Science Sho with your humbly handsome host, the Helpful Scientist Sho! This is the first in many episodes in which we use science to improve the lifestyles of our lovely local idols, so that they have the pep in their step to be at their best in the rest of their lives here.

Today's episode, an important and necessary part of any idols' life, food! Namely, these bad boys!

[ Slaps the top of a ration, which jiggles in response. ]

This baby may meet all your nutritional needs, but what about the needs of your taste-deprived mouths? Through science, I believe we can make a breakthrough in creating something that's good for you and contains an actual flavor! In fact, I have a sampling of a scientifically improved ration here and ready to blow your mind!

[ Slaps another ration, which is a bright red in color. ]

So now, I gladly invite any and everyone to bring a food or drink item of their choice down to the kitchens and through the magic of science, we'll discover together if we can turn that sneer of mild disgust into a smile of satisfaction!

I assume the same nutrients are still there, I haven't been messing with that.... I think.

I'm curious if these things can actually be made to taste half-decent.

I've gotten some of the rations to take on the texture or taste of foods, but not consistently. I think it's a practice thing though.
