I don't . . . remember if I consented to it or not, but I didn't feel as if I was there against my will. Rather -

Upon my summoning I was granted the information that I required for that period of time, including all of the records of the Holy Grail War; however, it seems some parts of my memory are fuzzy. Mmm . . .

Essentially, what went wrong was that . . . "Ruler" is not a designated class that may be summoned by the Master - so, in trying to force a "Ruler" summoning, so only I could be summoned, because I'm a particularly weak Servant.

Master and Servant are very loaded terms, Lucifel. Moreso when you talk about yourself like someone's trying to cheat the fucking lottery.

[Sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose]

I don't suppose you recall what was required from the summoning.

. . . A summoning catalyst and blood. The incantation is standard, though not necessarily required in the case of outlier summonings.

But - as a Servant . . . rather, as a fighter, I don't have very good stats - didn't you see them?

. . . It - although my own power was not up to par as a fighter, my own abilities granted to me by my class - were still formidable. At the very least, there . . . is that?

. . . I am not. . . capable of being summoned in the Ruler class. One of the requirements to being a Ruler is the lack of a wish for oneself - to be forced into the class anyway is what damaged my Saint Graph.

[ idly, he pulls at a lock of his hair, twisting it around his finger ]

In other words, I was incompatible with that class in the first place. I have a wish for myself - one that I thought was worthy to fight for.
