[Someone is having a bit of a Valentine's Day feelings hangover, courtesy of love potions and some interesting life choices.

He has dragged himself down to the hotel kitchen, but is currently staring down a coffee maker either deep in thought or trying to figure out how it works. Could be either.]

[He startles just slightly at her voice, and then turns like nothing happened, stepping away from the machine.]

I prefer tea myself, but coffee is quite helpful when you really need extra energy.

I've taken advantage of it a few times previously, though generally someone on my unit will make it, or I'll get it elsewhere.

[ she wanders i to the kitchen half asleep. rubbing at her eyes she joins him at the coffee machine, waiting for him to be done. after a few minutes she grumbles something under her breath, then cracks an eye open as she covers a yawn, ]

You done? Can I use it?

[He does not do anything with the coffee maker in those few minutes, but at least instead of staring at is he's looking sidelong at her while she's not paying attention. Several unreadable expressions cross his face as some memories jump to mind, and he tries to force them away once she's looking.]

[ she’s on autopilot at the moment, so she’s just going to go through the motions and brew a pot of coffee. she might have normally told him to at least move aside, but she just grabs a pair of mugs and then slouches into the counter. ]

[ He can't remember a time when he saw these creatures, but somehow they're familiar to him... He'll kneel down and try to tempt one of them closer... ]

[ and with that, he is making some very convincing chitter-chatter noises at the squirrel. there's the occasional squawk. as ridiculous as it sounds, it seems to be working and a squirrel is coming up to them...!!! ]

This one likes compliments, so be sure to tell him his fur is very lustrous today~

[So yesterday sucked!

Izanagi's right out and about again the day afterwards, though. Well, for given definition of the phrase "out and about" - it's cold out and he's not about to put his mouth on a piece of freezing metal.

Because he also seems to have acquired a brand new harmonica and is giving it a try in the lobby, spending a little bit of time warming up before playing a fairly simple little tune without a hitch.]

[ he is getting on a train!! it's technically his first time using the subway here, but he is very used to this mode of transport so he's pretty comfortable with it.

where he's going doesn't really matter as he's more or less just exploring, but if anyone else is even within 20 metres of the train, this masked zrael is going to enthusiastically give you a blue origami rose. he might also say hello but that's not the important part. ]

Hmmhmm... I would like to say it is a surprise, but just looking out the window should tell you where we are headed.

[ Assuming Shu has anywhere he is going when he boards the train and isn't just going to ride it around in circles or exit at random stops is kind of generous. Since apparently he did that as a child I am going to assume he still does that, why not. TO THE AMUSEMENT PARK.
