[ Aura has spent the last day holed up in the art room, painting what ... appears, at first, to be a self-portrait. On closer inspection, though, it's clearly not. The features are slightly more feminine, the colours chosen warmer, the pose and air more confident. It appears to be of a girl who looks just like him.


Though he's shown no sign of artistry before, his skill is almost at a professional level. ]

[ Unlike most the rest of his unit, Shu isn't actually picking up on the fact this is a different person. ]

You are quite skilled. Is this meant to be an idealization of the self, or another side of it? Though the features look much as yours do, it is not a palette I would have associated with you.

Afternoon 164

When Kaguya gets home she slips inside the door quietly. She's wearing the hood she got while over in hell proper, and she's grateful for it now, pulling it low over her face. There's immediate relief once inside. She turns around, as though to lock it before remembering no one without their phone could get in anyway.

Not like anyone followed her here. It's just the one safe space she has in all of Imeeji.

Eyes stinging she leans forehead, tiredly resting her head against the sturdy barrier. Her cheek hurts-- bruised and lightly scraped. She's only really noticing it now. Her elbows hurt too. She just needs to get a few belongings and then she'll be off. ]

Morning 165

[ Someone has returned home sometime the next day. She's probably-- at least outwardly-- doing better than the night before if anyone caught her. It seems she stayed the night at HSS.

Sitting at the kotatsu, she simply soaks in the warmth of it like a cat, feeling tired and dozing off. ]

[ She doesn't entirely slip by without being noticed. Clearly.

In fact, Zero is leaning against the wall just outside her room, arms folded across his chest. While he doesn't look angry (the opposite, honestly; he's concerned), he doesn't exactly look pleased, either. ]

[ It is 164. He notices you enter and pauses for a second because there seems to be a rather despondent air around you ]

[ Shu has been gone, as of late— through no choice of his own, but it means he's not aware of what's transpired in his absence. When he exits his room and sees her sleeping at the kotatsu, he turns around and returns to his room, to take out a cloak and bring it to the main room, to drape over her shoulders. ]

Early morning 165

[Skylark hasn't been back to the dorms all of yesterday and the entire night. he's not even back properly now, because getting inside the dorms requires his phone which he doesn't have, and he's not going to knock. he'd go back to the roof but he was too sleepy to care.

so he's sitting outside the door, sleeping with his head in his arms, propped up on one of his knees]

[ Shu opens the door, having just arrived and... well, even he has to eat sometime. He meant to fetch his rations, but he is immediately distracted by Skylark.

He's sleeping so he can't protest (yet) when Shu picks him up.

Though, that's just a matter of time. ]

[ He looks. Not pleased. Not that she exactly looks like she's been doing all that well herself. ]

[ Zero can currently be found in the kitchen cooking up fried rice and ginger pork. He knows that some of the unit haven't been eating much (haven't been wanting to), but even so. It's for himself as much as it is for everyone who would like some. ]

[ Shu has already gone out to the combini to fetch himself a croissant. Not a terribly quality croissant, but it is breakfast nonetheless. ]

This is for you and Kaguya, I assume?

[ UH. Everyone... has had a time of it. Or... at least three of us have. ]

[ She tentatively peeks out the door. But when she recognizes the face there she fully opens up. ]

Oh-- it's you again.

[ A faint smile. She's got a little bruising in her face, but it doesn't take away from her smile. ]

No, it's fine. Were you here to see someone?

[ Glancing toward the cookies. A gift for them perhaps? ]

[he's not answering the door, and currently only outside his room to get tea, yawning as he does. he doesn't greet her but does give her a cursory glance as she's let in by the others, before focusing back on making his tea]

Unfortunately, having been away recently, I have no idea if now is a bad time but if the others indicate that you have bothered them I will ask you to leave.

[ Shu is indifferent to cookies.

But he's not shooing her away, so he's not particularly put off by them either. ]

[ Depends on who's being spoken of. Personally, he's doing okay. For the most part. ]

Day 165, Sometime Post-Game

[ Knock knock Taisho, there's a visiting HSS at your door. He has a fancy meat, cheese, and wine basket on one arm and Skylark's slightly broken phone in his other hand. ]
