Did you see Silence's first memory? The one with the strings. ... In a sense, Symphony has an ability similar to the BARiTONES puppeteering one. Except she can also use those strings to cut or control. Depending on what kind of scene she was going for.

In one of them, she forced someone to kill one of their friends at gunpoint. When the victim pleaded for their life, she replied:

[Give him a few to recall. His eidetic memory is not as good as Angel's. But it's nothing to scoff at either. Plus the memory is stuck in his head as an imposter memory]

"Come now, as the main character of this show you should know I can't just release him without a proper conclusion. You'd be disobeying my script! We need to know what happens when your friend here comes to—we need to see that horror on his face when I tell him what he's done! Remember once the curtains have been drawn, the show must go on!"

I also got the sense she was reveling in her newfound ability to control. As if that had been something denied to her before.
