Their general. The angel went overboard in battle and was sent back to heal up before re-joining the fight. They cast a "sleep seal" to recover more quickly. But unfortunately, they didn't wake up until we entered the rift.

After they sent all of you back to Tokyo-F, they went to other outposts in search of other angels. At least 500 of them by the diary's count.

They're also reluctant to team up with humans due to our fragility. Which is a fair point.

Travelling so far in that many days would have probably killed any one of us.

Nothing. Got a whole bunch of unrelated stuff, but it's like Elly just straight up disappeared.

They gotta be somewhere, though. We'll keep trying.
