Heaven and Hell don't exist in fixed locations. They are manifested through belief. Perhaps E's graduation was catalyst enough for us to all to believe. Either way, we managed to summon some part of Heaven into Hell. That was the rift that occurred before.

Azzy keeps a closer tab on the idols than what he would like you to believe. He knew about the rift. And the angel we met there. He arranged for a mission to reopen a path to Heaven. I heard about it from my information network and tagged along for the ride.

But it appears faith was required to make it to the desired destination.

So instead, some of us were thrown in jail for attempting to escape the production.
