[ a mingle/continuations post for people who are leaving the game tower since everything seems neat and organized and moving from post to post for area to area so it makes sense that we should have one that leaves to outside the game tower too???? ]

[In the smoke, disturbed by the passing of her hand, dream Nemesis has finished her cake. She sets the plate on the counter and brushes crumbs from her hands. Then she pauses. She looks around, brow furrowed like she's misplaced something, or like there's something she's forgotten.]

[The viewer's focus is trained on her as though she's the only thing in the world. His hands are pressed against that invisible barrier, bloodied and shaking. "Nem," he says, barely a whisper. That word, at least, is clear.]

[Nemesis turns to leave.]

[It's like the action cuts the strings holding the viewer up. He collapses to his knees, just watching now - watching as her steps carry her toward the door. The only sound is the soft hitching of the viewer's breath.]

[She doesn't look back, not even once.]

[...at real Nemesis' feet, Hurricane has started to stir.]

[Munna doesn't have any lips to lick, but from the gleam of its eyes it's appreciated this absolute delicacy of a nightmare, gobbling up every last memory of it from Hurricane's mind.

Nemesis is not so lucky, still staring at where her dream version disappeared even as the dream mist begins to dissipate.

Eventually Hurricane has moved enough to break through her spell and she goes to her knees to check on him]

H-hey, you back with us?

...mmm...?

[He sits up, yawning, and scrubs at his eyes. His cheeks are probably wet, but he looks surprised to discover that.]

Yeah. I... how come I'm on the ground?

[Looks kind of miserable]

Think you fell asleep? You were like that when I woke up...

Are you... I mean, sorry...

Huh? Why are you...?

[Remembers, and shakes off the lingering sleepiness in like .5 seconds.]

Dude! Are you okay? You were on the ground, and I couldn't get you to move or nothing.

Me? No, I'm fine...are you okay? You were--you were out pretty hard.

I'm fine, I just - I was standing there looking at your floating thing, and then it was like I was real tired all of a sudden.

Was I out long?

...You don't remember?

Remember what?

[Pauses, a little longer than natural, then waves off the topic]

...Anyways, no point in waiting around here. Unless you were hoping for another nap?

Uh - nah, think I'm good.

Okay. You wanna...get a coffee or something...?

...you sure you're okay? You look kinda. Uh. Weirded out.

Woke up under a bush with you passed out next to me. Kinda sounds like the stories they tell you in school to keep you away from huffing paint thinner.

Stay away from paint thinner, message heard loud and clear.

Yeah... C'mon.

[Angles her head towards...anyplace that isn't this; she hadn't actually made it that far from the game tower, whoops]

Lead the way, dude, I'm good with wherever.

[Heads for the station, then; maybe some bean juice at the cafe is the best course of action]

...You sure you're feeling okay? Or, uh, if you were in the middle of something, not trying to interrupt.

Naw, I'm just poking around with this guy.

[He jerks his thumb at the Braviary, who is padding along beside him.]

You mind if he comes?

[Shrugs]

I mean, I got a tag-along too, so it's not a big deal. So long's it's cool with you.

Works for me. Long's he's not gonna eat your face again or nothing.

Why would it do that? Don't those things eat berries or something?

[The munna gives another chirping cry, what vile slander, it has done nothing wrong gosh]

Dunno, dude. It was like glued to you, though. You were down on the ground and it was all -

[Spreads his own fingers and attaches them to his own face, in a face-hugger sort of imitation.]

[He is the recipient of a dirty look from the pokemon, and a quizzical one from her]

It was just floating by you when I woke up. Probably worried or something...your bird was freaking out.
