[ Good morning HSS! I hope you like being woken up by loud crashing noises because that's what's happening this morning. Inspection of the room where said crashing occurred will yield you one heavily tattooed adult (??) with his foot tangled in a blanket, looking sheepishly at his tipped over and mildly destroyed bed. To vouch for his adultness and newbieness, he's wearing a t-shirt and pajama pants. There's a flaming pony on his t-shirt. That's an important detail. ]

Ah jeez... I hope that wasn't expensive.

Depends on the game. Some of em you can kinda work around it? Lots of the one on one stuff's more like that. Get away with just defending or whatever.

Some of em, it's more like - damage at a distance, I guess. You're in a room with your team, and you gotta pick, like. Who you wanna help. If you're gonna help anyone, or if you're just gonna help you.

[He's quiet, for a beat or two.]

No matter what kind it is, though, you can't just - sit out. You can't not play, and you for sure can't throw it.

...yeah. The games here kinda suck.

That sounds like an understatement.

... I've got some questions about that, but I don't think I want to ask them just yet. It sounds like you guys are tired and could use a break from thinking about that kind of thing.

And even if you know what's coming's gonna suck, don't kill yourself to get out of it. If you do that, they don't bring you back for free. You gotta go visit a demon to do it, and she charges more than you're gonna want to pay.

A-anyway, uh. I mean, there's a lot of stuff to do?

Well, considering I'm a blank slate, it sounds like the best way to figure out what I like would be trying out a bunch of different stuff and seeing what sticks.

Well... we got an arcade, and a gym, and a library. Gym comes with a pool and a whole lotta gymnastics stuff. Plus there's a vidroom downstairs that's pretty much just a holodeck. You can do whatever with it.

Wow... that's a lot of recreational stuff. I was kind of expecting this place to be a little less hospitable.

When we first got here, there wasn't hardly anything. But whenever we hit a big milestone for points, they let us have another new thing.
