[ A young man wakes up in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, Day 138, is the date he will make his idol debut in Imeeji Idol Productions! Although it was ten years, three months, and two days since he was given a name, it is only today that he will be given an idol name!

What will that new name be? ]

Outside of the dorm, everything you say is televised and broadcast to the multiverse. I guess in that sense, we are all a bunch of Trumans.

But before we go into the backstory - let's get you set up for survival. Lives, videos, and games will earn you points. Points are currency that you can use to buy skills, memories, and various quality of life improvements.

Be a good idol and you stay on the show. Be excellent, and you'll be offered graduation. Side with the Prince of Lies - and you go home as you left it with all your memories. Side with the Prince of Vengeance - and you will get a wish granted, be able to travel to multiple worlds, but also be a minion of the Prince.

Fail and you'll be transferred to some show that you can't escape from. Coin toss on how good the show is.

Okay, so, win games and don't get voted off the show, and then some minion nonsense if your season runs long enough.

One addendum - come back to the dorm at least once every three days. Make sure to wear some unit appropriate clothes.

If you don't, you become part of the live studio audience. And they are grey faceless blobs that can't remember who they are.

Well that sounds shitty.

It is shitty. So do what you can to avoid that fate.

Okay, but I don't know anything about being an idol and I am pretty sure I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

Not idol in a traditional sense. More like a reality TV show than anything.

None of us have had to sing a single note unless they chose to. And there was only one play that was put on. And that was a long time ago.

The games are either split into doing something social and probably embarrassing. Or violent with the chance of death.

Which brings up another point - don't throw games. The producers don't take to attempted sabotages to their production.
