It depends. The games are controlled by the producers and the rules vary. Not all of them are bad, but we had several bad ones in a row recently. Before that we had a few nicer ones. They like to jerk us around like that.

Lives are usually a more pleasant way to earn points. People don't usually get hurt in those, unless someone does something stupid.

But how they have us play makes sense, if what they want is entertaining reactions. It would be so much nicer to perform in a more traditional way.

Yeah. Joker says the same thing. They can’t let us get too comfortable or it’d be boring for the audience.

Well, I'll do my part to be entertaining so there aren't any addition targets on our backs. Admittedly, this place's aesthetic isn't to my taste... but I wouldn't use that as an excuse to slack on my duties.

We've been brought here against our will and our memories have been stolen. What they ask us to do isn't "duty."

...But yeah, our dorm is pretty bad. Thorn's been doing what he can to repair furniture. And we have a soft room.

[The soft room is kind of. Like a padded cell. But it's soft at least.]
