[ after a phone call, Lucifel is sneaking Joker into his secret murder room in the back of his closet, which
is not really ssssoo much of a murder room now - the blood is cleaned completely and there's a bed there, as well as three chairs stolen from the lobby. nothing is out, so it just looks like an awkwardly empty bathroom-turned-bedroom, but there's also an oppressive atmosphere hanging in the room, reminding you - the crimes you've committed can't be washed away.

You know Absinthe, from BARiTONES, right? He's been doing some fucked up shit and we want you to alter everyone's memories about it so he doesn't do it again.

Okay.
First of all, the only BARiTONES I know is Kohime. And I don't even know her that well. My unit doesn't have any connections to them. So I'm kind of in the dark about who Absinthe is, and a bit concerned about bringing this guy's or his unit's attention to Bad End in a bad way. We're already targets enough for units in games.
Second of all, how fucked up are we talking? There's plenty of fucked up things that people get up to--it does say a lot that both of you are saying "it's really fucked up", though. No offense. So I don't doubt he's something that needs to be dealt with... I just need to know the severity.
Third... the ability is switching one thing in a memory. It can be a person, a place, a thing, an idea--like that. It'll effect proceeding memories affected by the change but... I'd need to know what memory and what item in that memory needs to be replaced with what item. Specifically. If I don't do it right, there'll be cognitive dissonance that might cause problems for people--and my unit's already dealing with one mishandling of this ability, so I'm not really eager to fuck it up.
Finally. I can't guarantee that changing memories will prevent people from getting right back into that sort of situation. If you don't know he's the culprit and he's a predator type... I can't guarantee that. But I can offer help in trying to steer anyone away from him after the fact.
... I'm not saying I won't do it. But you're going to have to work with me here on these things. Not just say "hey, fuck around with my memories and wham bam, it's done." That's not how this ability works. That's why we don't tend to use it--even when we were lacking morals during the Trial stuff.

Dia knows a lot of it, and she also let that guy eat her arm once because she's a fucking idiot. And Ruby Sour, also from BARiTONES, knows that Absinthe was snacking on the two of them. That should be everyone.
...And just so you know, this probably shouldn't get you or your unit in trouble. As long as you stay away from Absinthe, he's not gonna do anything outside of games. Guy's trying to not make it too publicly obvious that he's a piece of shit.

So if that's all right... and maybe alerting one other person good with keeping a lid on things like that... it sounds like we'll need to get Dia and Ruby on board. The less friction against the changes, the better.
Though I probably can't change Ruby's memories without it causing noticeable issues... since they're unitmates. I can at least make sure Ruby won't know about your involvement.

One additional step for you guys, though, is swapping out my face with something that doesn't narrow down which Bad Ender did the deed. That way, all people would know is that they had a memory changed willingly and a Bad Ender handled it. Gives Absinthe nothing really to work with if he figures it out and guns for you guys, and Bad End can be ready for retaliation, if necessary.
But fuck getting that guy's permission. If I could break into his heart and steal the distortion there, I would. But I can't, so I'll take what I can get there.
