STARTING POST: AVANTE EN GARDE

WHEN: Day 1, Morning

[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside. The closet door is locked, so if you want to change out of your sleepwear, no dice. If you try to remember why you locked your closet door, also no dice, since you remember absolutely nothing from before waking up.

At least you've got all these other amnesiacs waking up in the same dormitory you can ask questions that they also don't have the answer to! The only thing that even pretends to have answers is your smartphone, which helpfully has your profile, a rundown on your unit, a map and city information, and your job description: while your every waking moment is being filmed and broadcast to a live audience, you'll get to conduct lives, perform in videos, and participate in game shows where you'll compete against other units! Congratulations on becoming an idol!

The television in the main room is waiting for your input; the current display is a list of the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to each of them, much like the ones on your profiles, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color— your position within the unit.

Once you've all chosen, the closet doors will unlock. It seems the elevator doors are staying locked while waiting on other units to finish sorting out their positions. Maybe go put on some real clothes in the meantime. ]

((Your character's sleepwear is whatever you want it to be, be it embarrassing onesie or long nightgown or just boxer shorts, though only white and unit colored. This post is for you to meet and greet your unit; another post will be going up tomorrow for characters to explore the setting outside of their dorms and meet other units.))

Front-man material right here, duh? I don't even know where to start talking about this multitude of talents, but stick around and maybe some of it'll rub off.

Pretty sure you don't have a choice, since you don't even know why we're sitting around here in our pajamas. Why don't you figure that out, that'll probably be even more handy than you polishing up your keytar skills.

That thing having our information implies we've been here, as does the fact we've all got clothes that fit to our size and... style.

But the info isn't fully filled out, and none of us can remember a thing before right now. Feels kinda like a reset with those in mind.

Question is, why...and was it just us who were wiped. If there's some rival group like the data pad's implying, or some mysterious audience or whatever, do they know what's going on? Did they do this to us? ...We should probably get outta here and find somebody to interrogate.

For a lot of people, that fact right there would work up some emotion. You really don't care that we've been kidnapped and forced to work as what my best guess is telling me is Knights of the Round Table cosplay enthusiasts?
