STARTING POST: AVANTE EN GARDE

[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside. The closet door is locked, so if you want to change out of your sleepwear, no dice. If you try to remember why you locked your closet door, also no dice, since you remember absolutely nothing from before waking up.

At least you've got all these other amnesiacs waking up in the same dormitory you can ask questions that they also don't have the answer to! The only thing that even pretends to have answers is your smartphone, which helpfully has your profile, a rundown on your unit, a map and city information, and your job description: while your every waking moment is being filmed and broadcast to a live audience, you'll get to conduct lives, perform in videos, and participate in game shows where you'll compete against other units! Congratulations on becoming an idol!

The television in the main room is waiting for your input; the current display is a list of the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to each of them, much like the ones on your profiles, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color— your position within the unit.

Once you've all chosen, the closet doors will unlock. It seems the elevator doors are staying locked while waiting on other units to finish sorting out their positions. Maybe go put on some real clothes in the meantime. ]

((Your character's sleepwear is whatever you want it to be, be it embarrassing onesie or long nightgown or just boxer shorts, though only white and unit colored. This post is for you to meet and greet your unit; another post will be going up tomorrow for characters to explore the setting outside of their dorms and meet other units.))

[ Motions at his hair. ]

But that could get confusing too.

[hmm, heads over to the console to tap in for 'Silver', turning back to gauge his reaction.] Now it's a mysterious disparity. [waggles fingers mysteriously] Everyone on the team [Ace, Nemesis] seems to have a pretty striking name; I'm already curious about why you're 'Gold'.

Color me curious too. Anything strike you as golden about me?

[hmm, light touch to tip his chin down a bit]

Your eyes, a little bit.

[ Doesn't seem to be bothered by manhandling. ]

Sounds close enough.

[Steps away from him, and the board. ]

It's your call. We don't even know what it'll mean yet.

[ Leaning over to shift the silver to a dark slate gray. ]

This shade works better for me.

[Shrugs, moving away to pace the room aimlessly. Testing the main doors again.]

That certainly matches our... theme. [idly knocking a stone wall, just to see if it is actual real stone.]

[ Gonna mess with the display to see if it'll show anything else. ]

[Well apparantly "The TV looks like a big tapestry of knights engaged in battle when not being used"

Frowns a bit.]

I want to say that's a weird choice for an idol persona, but what do I know? Not much, at the moment.
