When: Day 115, nightish to Day 116, whenever, whatever is most easy for us all in weird timelock zones.

[We won a game, huzzah! Night 115 is when Pharaoh is coming back to the unit with a pink sensitiv sweater wrapped around his waist because his clothes went missing.

But day 116, he's got clothes again, hooray. HOW ARE YOU ALL?]

[ a pause. it sits on "requiem is typing" for a moment before disappearing, but. ]

requiem: please.
requiem: i want you here.

Nemesis!: ok good im outside

requiem: wh

[ what??????? jumps up and trots over to the balcony to open the door and look out ]

[peeks her head over the awning over the balcony, a weak grin on her face. With some effort, she flips and drops down to their patio furniture]

Hey. So, uh. Took a little longer than expected. We got some new guys, y'know.

[ closes the door behind her and just

...

just nothing. just waiting, leaned back against the door. ]

Oh-- yeah? How are they?

One of 'em broke the other's arm like within five seconds of knowing him. Morons. Anyways, uh.

[She makes her way over to her, doing a poor job at not looking contrite]

Can I--

[And she reaches out]

[ oh

closes the distance after only a moments hesitation and gathers her up against her. ]

[Just sags against her for a few beats. Slowly her arms make her way up and around her waist, shaky-tight]

[ holds, firm and gentle and not too constricting but letting nem squeeze however hard she wants without comment.

after a moment: ]

... you wanna talk about it?

[Takes another wobbly breath, though her voice is mostly even]

...Can we just stay like this for a little?

Mhm.

[ hesitates a moment

Then just floats the both of them onto the nearest cushioned chair so she can better cuddle nem in her lap ]

[She

just stays like that for a while.

Before too long she takes a shuddery breath and forces her grip less desperate; pulls away a little, though not much]

...Sorry.

[ still holds her, leaning her cheek against nem's head. ]

Take your time.

It's... I'm fine, now, if you wanna-- I mean, whatever you wanna do. I just wanted to see you.

[her voice is more exhausted than anything. she doesn't particularly move from where she is, but she could if she had to, which is the important part. her hair probably smells a little like smoke]

[ ... mmm. doesn't make any move to make her move anyway, just comfortably huddled against her. ]

It's okay. We can stay like this for a bit longer.
