Even though this was more or less what he should've expected, he still stared down in shock at the lack of a gushing chest wound. There's a hole in his ratty sleep t-shirt and everything, but when he goes to touch it with his hand - which suddenly felt fine(!!!) - only seamless skin greeted him.]
