Let me break it down for you simply. The Princes of Hell are the producers - full demons. You can find references to them in most demonology books.

They each have their own staff and employ hosts that run the games. Lackeys, at worst. Minions with their own agendas at best. Those are the ones you see at the games.

I am reassured... in a way.

That explains why the ones responsible for the games have so much presence--because they are useless in the scheme of it all.

It is a hierarchy of power. Just like anything else.

Which is also why the hosts are limited in their usefulness.
