[that isn't a name he knows, so he has very little issues with puffing up angrily, eyes flashing]
Well, screw her, then! Where the fuck does she get off doing that?
[he hasn't realized that the game sort of messed with Sekhmet's mind, though it's debatable on whether it'd make a difference. murder is one thing, but the power of compulsion, the ability to take away someone's free will, is something else entirely]
Is she too much of a coward to dirty her hands herself?
My understanding of the game is limited, since I wasn't there. But it sounds like everyone wore items - in this case, a crown that bestowed power and a collar that bestowed subservience. But power by itself won't make you choose to have someone's throat slit, or open someone's scars until they die.
[ Did he even mention she also killed Absinthe? Whatever. Moving on. ]
It sounds to me like she merely showed her true colors.
she's not excusing anybody but she's gotta know, ]
And what about her? Do we know what sort of, if any, compulsion was on her to make her behave that way? Most everyone present in that game was acting unlike themselves.
The collar made a person completely subservient. ... Among our group, I think it made everyone who wore it want to obey. But...
[ hmm. ]
I wore the crown, whatever effect it had--it seemed to have been delayed. Some of the items--like the bracelets, that created an emotional bond, and the perfume--that made our partner cough up flowers... were delayed.
[ that still doesn't answer how or why this was the result. and more importantly ]
All of the items that we had to wear for the sake of trying to win that silly game had some kind of effect. At one point, I shared an emotional bond with a girl who was both in love with me and was compelled to do whatever I wanted while I wanted to kiss every other person present after several memories were shared against our wills. We didn't get through most of the items, either--so I can certainly imagine that with the right, or rather wrong, combination things could have gotten out of hand.

One of the newer girls on sensitIV, Sekhmet.
Due to the game, she had some kind of power of compulsion over Maki. So she ordered Maki to kill Yugi, and then herself.

[yeesh. . .]
At least Maki had good reasons for making the threats she made.

Power-hungry is maybe easier to understand. Killing people to achieve power.
But what do you call it when you already have power, and use it to harm others?

. . . no better than the demons who trap us here?
[is he one to judge when he takes solace in violence? although for Mars, it’s always been more about the fight and not the actual bloodshed]

[ she shakes her head. that's disturbing.
BUT she, personally, will be refraining from judgment--having been made to kill people while out of her mind twice now. ]
Is Corona all right? And Maki?

No. I don't think they are.

I'm so sorry. There was no reason for any of that to have had to have happened to them....
[ considers this-- ]
If you want to invite Corona over... he's always welcome here. .... I'm not comfortable with Maki right now, though.
[ so she's sorry but she also thinks if you want to go see her you should. probably go over there. ]

Maki wouldn't want to be here anyway.
[ And she's probably with Intensity, besides. ]
But... I want to stay with Yugi, for now. I'll tell him to come.
Thank you, Hiryuu.

Amazing how it takes less than four or five days for another incident to happen.
