There are a few matters, as I said before, that I'd like to discuss with you all. Two are matters of the unit, and one is a personal matter of mine.

[ there are also creme caramels - custard pudding - on the table. not individually wrapped, but rather in rubber molds like they were homemade. some are classic and some are various fruit-based puddings. there are also a few plates and spoons like you're meant to serve yourself. ]

TALON PROTECTION PLAN

First, in regards to unit matters. The other day, Talon-san of WILD CITY came to visit us about forming a protection plan for the entirety of this city - in order to best devise such a plan, so that we might be able to protect every unit in game situations where it might be possible, he asked for our most hated units. In other words - those who we would rather not protect. Specifically, this would allow for him to best customize the formation so that we are not left to protect someone we could not tolerate, and then this way, we can all protect everyone.

Personally, I have no unit I would not protect. However, perhaps it is different for you all.

Mm, that's a smart way to approach it on his part... it'll make assignments much easier.

Honestly, I don't have any problems protecting whoever we're assigned -- the whole point is that by doing so, we'll be protecting everyone, right? That's what's important.

That's right. In the end, everyone will be protected - that is the idea behind this plan.

While there are people I dislike, I don't really hope for a unit to die, or anything. So long as the people I care for will also be protected, then I am fine with whatever. This was originally my goal, after all.

...There's no one I would want to leave unprotected, in that sort of scenario. If there's a way to work together to protect everyone, then I have no problem following it, no matter who we're given.

You probably know my feelings on this already for the most part. I don't hate any unit on the whole enough to simply never protect them, and my only priority is the safety of sensitIV and the reestablishment of hope for Bad End.

I can put that down as a priority. . . ? Talon-san noted he would prefer those we would refuse to protect rather than those we would prefer to protect, because the elimination and matchup would be easier that way - still, I'll make sure to note that.

PRIORITIZING

Second, the last game has made it clear that we all have our different priorities. It has additionally been made clear that we cannot always afford them - we did survive this time, but only just barely.

It is not my intention to force anyone to sacrifice those they care about. Of course, we can all agree to protect everyone we can when we can afford it. However, in order to be most efficient in assisting our community in the aftermath of these death games, we must somehow protect ourselves. Some units may not need our assistance, but the majority of those in this city have use for our ability - so we cannot allow ourselves to fall, either.

We have something of a non-aggression treaty with WILD CITY. I understand that this was brought about due to my own selfishness, but tonight I also come to you with the proposal for protecting three other units: future is now, BAD END=DEAD END, and LiliS.

In terms of strict alliances, none of these units have approached us. However, historically speaking, these units have drawn the short end of the stick time and time again. I would ask that you all consider these units - if the concern is benefit to ourselves, then we can reach out to these units to ask for some sort of formal alliance; however, what I ask for tonight is that we agree to, at least on some level, prioritize avoiding them out of the other units that may be targeted. I understand that I have asked for something selfish once again. Still, I can do nothing but ask.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with this plan. I am fine with formalizing things with Wild City, further. They have helped defend us still even when they did not have to. LiliS, Bad End, and Wild City all include people here that you and others find important to them, but I am absolutely not willing to sacrifice Heart Soldier Senshi.

And with all due respect, last time I was told that Heart Soldier Senshi would be protected, my master lost her head.

My protection cannot extend toward multiple other units before I protect the princess. Even above myself, she will always be my priority. Furthermore, if we are to protect these other units all of the time when able, then that is yet another group less likely to vote for Senshi. We would be saving these units at the continued expense of my own special people. I can understand us taking turns to protect units outside of Wild City. I realize Nya cares for Bad End, that Persephone has someone important on LiliS, and you yourself have people on Azrael, for instance. But I will not forever vote to protect others above my brother and my master.

In contrast, I'm not fine with being forced into further connection with Wild City unless Aries transfers for good or graduates.

It's in the best interests of the community to work together to take some of the pressure off of units who've been dying more than their "fair" share. No one's asking you to not protect the people who are important to you, Levi-san. But the rest of us would like a chance to do the same, and being part of a unit and a larger community means compromise sometimes.

Rather, simply they may be held with a higher regard than we had held them before. I understand your priority to your Master.

Beyond Heart Soldier Senshi, do you have no other unit that you could not sacrifice?

Um, I-I care quite a lot for Kohime on BARiTONES. I know that at times they have behaved, um, apparently quite poorly, but I think that that is mostly driven by the same desire that all of us have to protect ourselves. I'm not saying that we must forge an alliance with them, and obviously we cannot protect every team every time, but-

[She thinks about what Kohime had said about everybody thinking of them as the bad guys and carelessly condemning them to death. Undoubtedly her own feelings, her own fear was part of that opinion, but- she cannot bear the thought of betraying her, confirming for her that nobody can be trusted. (Ironically, Sekhmet still doesn't truly trust anybody, not without reservations but somehow she's at peace with this). Or perhaps, she simply doesn't want to damage her relationship with somebody she cares about.]

Moreover, I do not dislike anybody on Future is Now, but neither do I know any of them well.

Um, I propose that if it is truly necessary, perhaps we could rotate who we are protecting.

I don't think that alliances will do much to help anything in the end. If I'm being honest, I think that formal alliances would only serve to further the rift and create more hard feelings than they solve.

SensitIV's way has so far always been to discuss things as they come up game to game, because the situation is always different, and making formal alliances would stifle that process too much, I think.

That said, my personal priority is Bad End. I don't expect you all to agree with me every time, but just know that I'm intending to fight for them from here on out, regardless of any decision we come to now.

AVENGER

. . . It was some time ago that this change occurred, but due to the recent incident of Avenger - Doodleman - killing me, I realize this weakness of mine is something that you all should know about.

To make things short, I am a Servant of the Ruler class - this means that I am weak to those who are classified as Avengers and Berserkers. Doodleman is one such Avenger - so, when it comes to strength, his attacks to me are twice as strong as they could ordinarily be and my own strength is halved.

It is, perhaps, an explanation as to why his strength was so devastating in the first place.

My apologies to everyone, for the trouble - for the trauma that you might have endured from such a gruesome sight. I will endeavor to take more care in the future.

You told me he's your enemy, and yet your presence around him is concerning. Not only because he has already killed you on one occasion, but knowing that he may then do so easily again, especially after declaring that he is happy to continue to try and do so, is troubling to the rest of us.
