[ fires off a quick text to them both asking if they could meet him in the lobby. he's not 100% sure how this is going to work, but he's nervous. it had been an accident the first time it happened, but that wasn't going to be the case this time. ffs. ]

[ he's not thrilled about subjecting anybody to anymore of the stupid shit that goes on inside his head at night, but intensity's right - he needs to sort his shit out, so he can have peace of mind. ]

[ he's not even sure how to explain what the hell a soul room is without diving into all the magical bullshit that's attached. ]

I got to a room in my dreams. My, ah, soul... room... But it's not exactly the safe haven I remember it being anymore. I do nothing but die over and over and over each night, since there's just dozens of traps hidden all over it.

What would make you feel more in control of that space? Before we tackle it, I think understanding that important.

I don't know if we can bring anything in, but the traps in my soul room are based on a game we used to play back home called duel monsters, so maybe if we could bring in cards to counter the ones inside? O- Or something like that?

If that's what they're based on, that makes perfect sense.

In the worst case scenario, if you couldn't physically bring the cards with you, do you and Intensity remember the ones you have and what they do?

I know my deck backwards and forwards as well. Among a few other cards that I think may come in handy.

I was actually wondering if we could bring what we had on us into the dream... [ though it might not matter if the dream is going to take charge and make that all moot. ]

Even though I can manipulate dreams, I will be reliant on both of you to help me understand the game you're dreaming of. You told me the rules and I've seen a few cards, but we will be more effective with both of your experience and knowledge.

I create the opportunity, you provide the means. Does that make sense?

It's best if you hang onto these. I should be able to replicate them for myself if I need to.

Probably somewhere out of the way would be best. I don't really think we should be sleeping out in the open.
