[ AT SOME POINT everyone who's been invited to the shady heaven-opening ritual will be getting a text; this includes but is not limited to Aradia, Doodle, Requiem, Maneater, Maki, Intensity (and his plus one), Eichi, and if someone's been invited or snuck along. Absinthe isn't picky!! ]


Absinthe: I have a time and a place ✝️
Absinthe: This evening, at the lobby of the hospital.

[ once everyone has had their drink -- and spoke the words -- Absinthe will take a lighter and go to each candle he's laid out in a circle, lighting them one by one, as he speaks, bookmarked-bible in his free hand, though again it seems he's reading from a piece of paper stuck amongst the pages. ]

"Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it."

[ he pauses, not standing in the circle but looking expectant. ]

[ and, in answer to the ritual and the bated breath, the outline of a door begins forming in the air. Transparent, with a shine that removes it from the reality of everyone gazing at it, delicate enough that any attempted seems as though it will pass straight through it.

And, more than seems. Will pass through it.

The longer it hangs there, the more solid it becomes, bars forming as if the way is barred to you who opened it. The barred gates await you, incorporeal and ghostly.

[ The gates of heaven that appeared mistily in the air hang there for a long moment— it feels like it's been months— shimmering as though a mirage that will vanish when you blink. But the ghostly image swings open and light pours through, a shining path to permit you entry to whatever may come beyond these gates.
