Hi everyone! Us girls have been talking, and we really wanted to do something fun. So we decided to have a flower viewing party! Spring is coming and the cherry blossoms in the park are starting to bloom, so let’s all take a break and enjoy it. Special thanks to Hiryuu-chan for helping us set up the picnic and carry all the food over from the cafe.

Lately everything's just seemed, er... tense.

You're not wrong to feel that way. The last few days have been very trying for everyone, I think.

It's, er... a little alarming, to see people like that.

But—oh, I don't want to bring this to a lovely picnic like this.

It's okay. Bottling things all up inside--it's not healthy for you, you know? If you're feeling bothered, maybe talking about it will help you so you can enjoy the rest of your day better.

Ah, well—I'm glad that, I guess, that alliance plans seem to be going forward among a lot of units? It just... feels like a lot of people are hurting, right now.

I'm sure this isn't the worst it's ever been, though.

I suppose that depends on what you mean by "worse." Are there many units considering alliances?

I just know... we stopped talking about it for a couple weeks, but we've had some inquiries very recently. It didn't seem like we had a lot of interest when I first woke up here...

I don't think we had any flowers like this at home, but they're beautiful...

What was your home like?

Ah... more humid, warmer than this for most of the year—a long rainy season. There were a lot of tall, broad-leaved trees, and rivers—canals, I guess—everywhere. I think what flowers we did have were vines, or closer to the ground...

...ah, I never really asked about your homeland, either.

Mine? Kouka is a small country, but the regions are vastly different. I lived in the palace most of my life, and I didn't get to see much of the city outside the palace walls, but... Based on my my memories, the wind tribe's region was one marked by a great deal of forest and mountains, and the fire tribe's was also mountainous but far more arid. The water tribe's lands were by far the most lush and rainy. We had neighboring countries to our north and the south, as well as ocean on our east and west.

I suppose the water tribe's country seems like it wouldn't be that different from my home country, actually...

It's been hard honestly. But it seems like most everyone has been having a difficult time lately.

Mm... I mean, I certainly haven't had nearly as much reason to complain as others, but it's certainly stressful, even so. I don't like to see others hurting, especially when there's little I can do about it...
